How Estimates Work: A Transparent, Step-by-Step Process
A lot of homeowners assume getting a home service estimate means calling around to several companies, describing their project over and over, and trying to compare answers that don't quite match up. Our process is built to remove that friction.
When you submit your project, it's reviewed to make sure we have what's needed to get accurate pricing. If anything's missing, a project assistant — which may use AI — follows up to fill in the gaps, rather than sending you back to a long form.
From there, we request pricing from qualified local providers on your behalf. A person on our team reviews that request before it goes out, and reviews the estimate that comes back before it's ever sent to you. Nothing about your price is generated or approved automatically.
The result is one clear, all-in estimate — not a pile of quotes in different formats for you to reconcile yourself. If you accept, you're connected directly with the local provider who will do the work, and that contracting relationship is always clearly identified before you sign anything.
